Project Overview
Hurley’s Earthworx was entrusted with the full sitework for the Samarcand Training Academy, a police academy in Moore County, NC. This project required a comprehensive site preparation package, including land clearing, erosion control, grading, and utility installations, to ensure the site was ready for the academy’s construction.
The site presented unique challenges, such as installing essential stormwater management and a septic system for wastewater handling, but our team’s precision and expertise ensured the project moved forward smoothly and on time.
Scope of Work
✅ Erosion Control & Tree Protection – Installed 300 feet of erosion control measures and tree protection to prevent environmental damage during the site preparation process.
✅ Fine Grading – Fine-graded the building pad, curb, and gutter, ensuring precise elevations for proper drainage and smooth construction.
✅ Stormwater Management – Installed 200 linear feet of 8-12 inch HDPE storm drain to handle site runoff and prevent water accumulation.
✅ Septic System Installation – Installed a 1,500-gallon septic tank and a 1,800-gallon pump tank, followed by 300 feet of leech field, providing a sustainable solution for wastewater management.
